drew some mermaids today for my character design assignment, then I started adding colour and it took over my day. I drew and coloured a whole bunch of other character concepts that i might post in a bit, so for now...here they are :) (the second one is my favorite!)
also, uploading these onto blogger really destroyed the colours :s the lines look really harsh and strange... hhmm.

Yeah, what is it with blogger, when you upload images it just sucks the life out of them? I scan at 300dpi and punch up the saturation and contrast to try and fight it. Even the line quality suffers :(
Anyway, I like the bottom one as well, nice silhouette!
