Some Good News and a Ukelele!

First the Uke! Totally inspired by a) a picture by Aurore Damant (that Amy posted on my facebook wall!) and b) the very very very beautiful blog of Kevin Kidney (he has the best name ever!)

such a great day of inspiration :) even though i had so much other stuff to get done, i saw too many beautiful things so i couldnt resist making something of my own! Its also my favorite time of year, even thogh the leaves havent started to change colour just yet, i've had that wonderful fall feeling all day! Its going to be an amazing year!

NOW FOR THE GOOD NEWS! :D I got the spot in the stop motion studio!! Hoorrayyy! Now i can share the blog i made for my film :) CLICK HERE if you want to see it.

If you dont want to see it thats ok! I'll post some pictures here anyways :D

These are just a random jumble of stuff thats new. theres more on the film blog :) I made a ball and socket joint, and a rough test of replacement faces. I would never have known how to make any of that if it werent for some very kind stop motion animators that shared their techniques on their own blogs! Check them out if you want to be AMAZED by some serious talent!!

Joshua and Nathan Flynn

Also, i'm fairly sure that its pretty obvious, but everything on my film blog is so super rough!! the story needs so much work, and i've just been racking my brains trying to figure out how to do this thing! i have like 5 different ways i think i could tell this story, but i just need to pick ONE and test out the possibilities within that one... i'm still figuring stuff out and the more eyes i get on it the better! so if you watch it and  have any suggestions for any gags or ways i could improve it, please let me know!! every little bit helps :)

THANKS GUYS!
