used that site (copied Glen Keane's drawings so i could get some practice on Tarzan!)

Honestly though, just from mindlessly copying a few of Glen Keane's sketches, I really feel like it transfered into my life drawing. I feel like it really came across in the portrait I did (maybe i'm the only one that gets this!)

and the bike in my biker picture is something i found on google but cant link b/c i cant find it again :(

Emily Haines! I've had a metric song stuck in my head for about a week now :s I'm very happy with this piece :) played around with the opacity alot, and added texture.

Digital Painting

Just practicing with my tablet, the last one was my first attempt. The top image is what i just completed. I'm pretty pleased with it because i deffinately see improvement, and i also learned so much about how to use my tablet! Its not perfect, but i'm happy. :)

Taking a break from the tablet, my eyes and hands hurt! :P

Btw, sort of figured out that a tablet it just like painting, I learned that from watching a few videos of Bobby Chiu painting on YouTube :P

Hopefully my next post wont be a frilly princess!!

Quick sketches of a character. I dont normaly draw girls, but i was looking at some Glen Keane sketches and concept art for Repunzel, and i got inspired :)

I like it when that happens!!

The second picture from the top was the very first doodle of her, i changed her hair, but she pretty much stayes the same!

And the proportion of the full body view feels a little strange.. legs too short? :s

Life Drawing (for Kristen!)

uumm, I havent been life drawing all that much lately. Dont ask about the heads lol

in the last one the model felt sick and left before the time was up (the in the bathroom, some of the roof fell on her :o...) so it was supposed to be a 20 minute pose, we had her for like 13? (just a guess) so i needed to rush the hands, head feet (all the stuff i leave till last :P) hopefully that explains the umm...lack of goodness!
